Kristen Euretig, CFP®

Women's Wealth Warrior

Kristen Euretig is a Certified Financial Planner™, Women’s Wealth Warrior and founder of Brooklyn Plans. She has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Forbes as an expert financial planner and consumer advocate. She is passionate about helping women realize their innate power by transforming their relationship to money.

Born in Columbia, MD to an ever-relocating Air Force father, she considers herself to be from Sacramento, California & obtained her BA in Linguistics from University of California San Diego after studying in Spain and attending classes at the University of Barcelona her junior year.  She moved to Brooklyn in 2004 to become a New York City Teaching Fellow and obtained a Masters in Teaching English as a Second Language at Long Island University (Brooklyn campus).  

 

She began her finance career in 2008 at a private firm and then worked in financial empowerment non-profits Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners & Microfinance Opportunities before founding Brooklyn Plans. She completed her financial planning coursework at Boston University.  In her free time, she takes Haitian folkloric dance classes, travels and enjoys all things Spanish as well as her adorable rescue pup, Sato (proof of adorability on IG @BrooklynPlans.)

Alicia McElhaney

Lead Planner

Alicia McElhaney is a finance coach at Brooklyn Plans who is passionate about helping people feel in control of their money.

 

Born just outside of Pittsburgh, PA, Alicia attended the University of Maryland, where she

earned a degree in journalism, with a minor in French. She moved to Brooklyn in 2016 and

began her career as a finance journalist.

 

After experiencing the inequality that persists on Wall Street to this day, Alicia decided she

wanted to be a part of the solution. She began a newsletter about women and money called

She Spends, and began taking financial planning classes through New York University.

Alicia is now an investment advisor representative and a coach at Brooklyn Plans. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, reading fiction, and playing with her pet rabbit, Brooks.

Calli Case, CFP®

Lead Planner - taking new clients

Calli is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Financial Planner for Brooklyn Plans. She has spent the last three years working in the industry wanting to serve a demographic that she identified was not being served by other firms. She is thrilled to be a part of the team and is on a mission to help close the wealth gap for career women, and help those looking for solutions and peace of mind to their financial worries.

 

Calli received her undergrad from Utah Valley University with an emphasis in Personal Financial Planning. She is passionate about helping others achieve their financial goals, and is especially thrilled to have the opportunity to help more women get ahead and feel confident in their financial lives. In her free time Calli enjoys long walks, reading, hiking, and playing piano.

Deborah Adeyanju, CFA

Lead Planner - taking new clients

Deborah Adeyanju is a Financial Planner with Brooklyn Plans. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder with a background in investment management. She is committed to helping women build not only their wealth but also their financial and investing confidence.

 

A native New Yorker, Deborah has also called Oakland, CA, London, and Paris home. Her writing has been featured on Work+Money, Subscribed.com, and WeWork, among others. After earning her MBA from Georgetown University, Deborah spent several years in Investment Analyst and Portfolio Manager roles as well as stints as an Investment Writer. 

 

When not providing financial advice or creating content, she globetrots, goes on art walks, tastes, writes, and posts about wine and food, and chases Frida Calla, her three year old cat.
