Kristen Euretig, CFP®

Women's Wealth Warrior

Kristen Euretig is a Certified Financial Planner™, Women’s Wealth Warrior and founder of Brooklyn Plans. She has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Forbes as an expert financial planner and consumer advocate. She is passionate about helping women realize their innate power by transforming their relationship to money.

Born in Columbia, MD to an ever-relocating Air Force father, she considers herself to be from Sacramento, California & obtained her BA in Linguistics from University of California San Diego after studying in Spain and attending classes at the University of Barcelona her junior year.  She moved to Brooklyn in 2004 to become a New York City Teaching Fellow and obtained a Masters in Teaching English as a Second Language at Long Island University (Brooklyn campus).  

 

She began her finance career in 2008 at a private firm and then worked in financial empowerment non-profits Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners & Microfinance Opportunities before founding Brooklyn Plans. She completed her financial planning coursework at Boston University.  In her free time, she takes Haitian folkloric dance classes, travels and enjoys all things Spanish as well as her adorable rescue pup, Sato (proof of adorability on IG @BrooklynPlans.)

Alicia McElhaney

Lead Planner

Alicia McElhaney is a finance coach at Brooklyn Plans who is passionate about helping people feel in control of their money.

 

Born just outside of Pittsburgh, PA, Alicia attended the University of Maryland, where she

earned a degree in journalism, with a minor in French. She moved to Brooklyn in 2016 and

began her career as a finance journalist.

 

After experiencing the inequality that persists on Wall Street to this day, Alicia decided she

wanted to be a part of the solution. She began a newsletter about women and money called

She Spends, and began taking financial planning classes through New York University.

Alicia is now an investment advisor representative and a coach at Brooklyn Plans. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, reading fiction, and playing with her pet rabbit, Brooks.

Calli Case, CFP®

Lead Planner - taking new clients

Calli is a Certified Financial Planner™ and Lead Financial Planner for Brooklyn Plans. She is on a mission to help women find solutions to grow their wealth and ease their financial worries.

 

Calli was born and raised in Utah, and has since lived in California and Arizona.  She received her degree in Financial Planning from Utah Valley University.  For Calli, this career path was a calling - a job where she could let her inner math nerd shine and help people!  

 

After years in the financial industry, Calli identified younger women as an underserved demographic.  She is dedicated to closing the gender wealth gap and educating women, supporting them to make confident decisions about their finances. 

 

In her free time Calli enjoys taking long walks, reading, hiking, and playing piano.

Danielle Arlotta, CFP®

Lead Planner - taking new clients

Danielle is a Certified Financial Planner™  and Lead Planner for Brooklyn Plans. Her goal is to help clients gain the confidence they need to meet their financial goals.

 

Danielle graduated from William Paterson University with her Bachelor of Science in Financial Planning. Danielle has been in the industry since 2015 and has had the opportunity to work with a very diverse client base.

 

As a Financial Planner, Danielle is dedicated to making financial planning and financial literacy more accessible. She is a volunteer for Savvy Ladies Helpline where she works with women who need financial advice, but don’t have access to the necessary resources.

 

Danielle was born and raised in New Jersey but has had the privilege of calling many places home. When she is not working Danielle enjoys reading, traveling, and learning French.
