Kristen Euretig, CFP®

Chief Planner and Founder

Kristen is a Certified Financial Planner®, Women’s Wealth Warrior, and founder of Brooklyn Plans. She has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Forbes as an expert financial planner and consumer advocate. She is passionate about helping women realize their innate power by transforming their relationship with money.

Born in Columbia, MD to an ever-relocating Air Force father, she considers herself to be from Sacramento, California & obtained her BA in Linguistics from the University of California San Diego after studying in Spain and attending classes at the University of Barcelona her junior year. She moved to Brooklyn in 2004 to become a New York City Teaching Fellow and obtained a Masters in Teaching English as a Second Language at Long Island University (Brooklyn campus).

She began her finance career in 2008 at a private firm and then worked in financial empowerment non-profits Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners & Microfinance Opportunities before founding Brooklyn Plans. She completed her financial planning coursework at Boston University. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the Hudson Valley, Brazilian Funk dance class, and spending time with her adorable toddler son and rescue pup.

Danielle Arlotta, CFP®

Lead Planner

Danielle is a Certified Financial Planner® and Lead Planner for Brooklyn Plans. Her goal is to help clients gain the confidence they need to meet their financial goals.

Danielle graduated from William Paterson University with her Bachelor of Science in Financial Planning. She has been in the industry since 2015 and has had the opportunity to work with a very diverse client base.

As a Financial Planner, Danielle is dedicated to making financial planning and financial literacy more accessible. She is a volunteer for Savvy Ladies Helpline where she works with women who need financial advice, but don’t have access to the necessary resources.

Danielle was born and raised in New Jersey but has had the privilege of calling many places home. When she is not working Danielle enjoys reading, traveling, and learning French.
